SlackBuilds - Business

On this site you can get SlackBuilds and packages of applications either primarily used by businesses or often used in a business environment. The README accompaning every SlackBuild contains all the necessary information to successfully run it. The supplied packages are built on a clean Slackware-12.1 environment using that scripts.
Apps on this page are split into three categories. "Business-Deps" contains dependencies used by the actual "Business" applications. "Business-Beta" contains apps that either not work as expected or are currently in rc or beta status. Packages based on VCS-Snapshots are normally also found in that category.

libqsqlpsql 4.4.3 [SlackBuild] [package] [source]
libqsqlpsql is the postgresql plugin for qt4's QtSql library. You'll need this plugin if you use a qt4 application that wants to connect to postgresql.
If you build qt4 from source, it is probably faster if you build this together with qt4 (which is the default if qt4 finds postgresql during configure). However, as future Slackware version very likely won't ship postgresql, the qt4 in Slackware won't support it, as is the case in -current now. Needless to say, this script works, with minor modifications, also with the qt4 in -current.
The package is compiled against the postgresql and qt4 packages from this site and does depend on them.
postgresql 8.3.5 [SlackBuild] [package] [source]
PostgreSQL is an advanced object-relational database management system (ORDBMS) based on POSTGRES. With more than 15 years of development history, it is quickly becoming the de facto database for enterprise level open source solutions.
For quick-start information please read README.SLACKWARE (under /usr/doc/postgresql-8.3.5 in the package)
The package is compiled on a clean Slackware-12.1 system.
*No additional dependencies needed*
qt4 4.4.3 [SlackBuild] [package] [source]
Qt 4 is a comprehensive, object-oriented development framework that enables development of high-performance, cross-platform rich-client and server-side applications. When you implement a program with Qt, you can run it on the X Window System (Unix/X11), Apple Mac OS X, and Microsoft Windows NT/9x/2000/XP by simply compiling the source code for the platform you want. Qt is the basis for the KDE desktop environment, and is also used in numerous commercial applications.
This Qt 4 package is created to enable co-existence with Slackware native Qt 3 package; developers should only remember to use versions with "-qt4" suffix (like "qmake-qt4", "assistant-qt4", "designer-qt4",etc.) of programs that exist under same names in Qt 3 (and developers using CMake should be fine without any additional action, because stock CMake is already looking for "qmake-qt4" first).
The package is compiled on a clean Slackware-12.1 system and has neither support for gstreamer nor for postgresql.
*No additional dependencies needed*
