Kaiserschmarrn

February 23rd, 2009

My journey to Amsterdam resulted in some…let’s say adventures in the world of cooking. I took my chances and tried some things beyond microwave and frozen pizza, starting with one of my favorites: Kaiserschmarrn. A picture says more than a thousand words so there we go:

kaiserschmarrn

I looked up the English translation and it would be something along the lines of “cut-up and sugared pancake with raisins”, except there were no raisins. It worked out rather well and it tasted really good. The fruits next to it are apples and pears. Very good as well.

To be continued…

Hello world!

After many years of thinking about an own blog I finally sat down and set one up. So, I’m now part of this “Me haz blog!!!” wave as well. Interesting. It’s harder than I expected….

This blog will contain some things I encounter in my life. I do a lot of stuff on computers, especially Linux, so that will be a big part of this blog (resistance is futile). As I’m currently in Amsterdam for an internship, it will likely appear in the one or other blog as well. And probably a lot more things I can’t really think of yet.

So far for the introduction of my blog.

See you soon!
